Our 16 variety sedum roof modules are carefully grown from seed directly into the recycled plastic roof trays and grown for a minimum of 12-months to ensure our sedum plants are well established ready for your roofing projects. Flowering starts in early spring and carries well into Autumn providing a beautiful array of colours and biodiversity.

Dimension: 46cm x 49.5cm with an edge height of 8 cm
Area: 4.5 modules / m2
Saturated weight: 55kg/m2
The green roof trays will only snap together in one way, making the installation process straight forward. If your roof needs underlayment, unroll the underlayment (no overlap), then place the Green Roof trays on top and get the job done.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR NUMBER OF SEDUM MODULES

Follow these steps:

Measure length x width to get m2 – you can have a 100-200mm border for large pebbles if you have no upstands.
Measure any skylights and box gutters and minus from the roof m2
Multiply your M2 by 4.5 to get the required number of green roof modules (round up) for your roof
The protective fleece would also be require for the same m2.
You can cut the modules by 1/3 with a hand saw or reciprocator saw to achieve the edge to edge and fit in around details such as skylights, this then gives the best appearance for the roof.

SEDUM MODULE DESCRIPTION

This is the all in one solution. Each Sedum Module contains the full package of drainage, water reservoir, substrate and fully grown sedum. Different varieties have a range of different flowering periods resulting in constantly changing colours throughout spring, the summer and early autumn. Installation is quick and simple – they just click together on the roof to create an instant result. Sedum must be installed within 48h from the delivery. You can cut sedum modules in halves and quarters if needed. Underlay matting is recommended for EPDM and felt roofs.
